In School Music Curriculum Delivery

We provide important support to local primary schools in delivering the national music curriculum for Key Stage 1 and 2. Our tutors can lead sessions or support staff in the classroom.

Following the ‘Music Express’ scheme, Apollo Arts provide experienced music teachers to cover the objectives required by the National Curriculum. As PPA time is now a government requirement, often primary schools face the task of hiring supply teachers, many of whom are only capable of covering subjects which the classroom teacher could themselves teach. Apollo Arts are able to deliver the music curriculum during this PPA time, and the school will only pay the same price as they are currently paying for a supply teacher.

Here at Apollo Music Service we all understand how stressful the Music GCSE period can be with performance, composition and the written exam, because we've all been there! One member of staff can struggle to provide each student with the attention that they deserve, we can offer staff support in all areas of the syllabus.

After School Clubs

Music and music technology, dance, art and drama classes are delivered in primary schools as part of their extended schools programme. We provide a lively, stimulating environment for children to learn various arts skills in after school clubs. Classes last one hour and take place on a weekly basis.

Holiday Clubs

Many parents face the dilemma of finding a child minder during the school holidays. Based along the lines of the creative arts projects (see Apollo Arts section), our holiday club will provide a safe and secure environment in which parents can drop off their child on the way to work, and pick them up when they finish. Various activities are available including sports and dance sessions, arts and craft days and musical workshops. Your children can have fun, be safe and still be creative at the same time.
